Information Assurance

There are currently two scholarship opportunities available to students in the Information Assurance programs at Champlain College — Computer & Digital Forensics (C&DF) and Computer Networking & Information Security (CN&IS):
- Information Assurance Scholarship Program (IASP)
- The 2008-09 application cycle is closed
- We anticipate the 2009-10 application to be posted in December 2008 with an application due date in February 2009.
- Federal Cyber Service: Scholarship for Service(SFS)
- The 2008-09 application cycle is closed
- We anticipate the 2009-10 application to be posted in December 2008 with an application due date in April 2009.
These scholarships are open to individuals who:
- Are full-time students majoring in C&DF or CN&IS
- Are within two years of graduation by the Fall semester of the academic year when the scholarship would start
- Are U.S. citizens
- Have a 3.0 GPA or higher
Both scholarships pay for tuition, books, fees, and room and board. Depending upon the scholarship funding source, students are required to work for the U.S. Department of Defense (IASP) or a governmental agency (SFS) for one year for each year of scholarship support.
